Procedures / Injuries

Shoulder Arthroscopy

A minimally invasive surgical technique called Shoulder Arthroscopy involves using an arthroscope, which is an endoscope inserted into the shoulder joint through a small incision, to examine and potentially treat any damage present.

Rotator Cuff Surgery

To address an injured rotator cuff in the shoulder, Rotator Cuff Surgery can be utilized. Several surgical procedures have been developed to repair muscles, connective tissue, or joints that may be damaged due to overuse or trauma.

Biceps Tenodesis

The procedure of Biceps Tenodesis involves the detachment of the long head of the biceps tendon from its insertion point on the glenoid, followed by re-attachment through either screw or suture anchor fixation to the humerus.

Knee Arthroscopy

Knee Arthroscopy is a surgical technique that involves minimal invasion of the knee joint, using an arthroscope (an endoscope) inserted through a small incision to examine and, in some cases, treat any damage present.

ACL Reconstruction

ACL reconstruction is a surgical procedure that involves replacing the anterior cruciate ligament (located in the knee) with a tissue graft to restore its function after an injury. The torn ligament can either be removed from the knee (which is the most common approach), or preserved (where the graft is passed inside the preserved ruptured native ligament) before the arthroscopic procedure of reconstruction.

Meniscus Repair

A torn or ruptured meniscus refers to an injury that occurs in the fibrocartilage strips, known as menisci, in the knee. When doctors and patients mention a “torn cartilage” in the knee, they may actually be referring to an injury to a meniscus located at the top of one of the tibiae.

Joint Reconstruction

Joint reconstruction is a type of arthroplasty that is frequently necessary for various joint diseases, such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Joint replacement surgery is becoming increasingly common, with knees and hips being the most frequently replaced joints.

Hip Arthroscopy

Hip arthroscopy is a minimally invasive approach to viewing the interior of the acetabulofemoral (hip) joint through an arthroscope, and treating any hip pathology found during the procedure.

Fractures & Dislocations

Bone fracture or dislocation is a medical condition that occurs when there is a complete or partial break or dislocation in the continuity of a bone. In some severe cases, the bone may break into multiple pieces.

Orif & Closed Reductions

Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) is a surgical procedure that involves the implementation of implants to facilitate the healing process of a bone, as well as the open reduction (setting) of the bone. Open reduction involves performing open surgery to set bones, which is necessary for certain types of fractures.

Customized Treatment Plans

Before any surgical procedure, we use non-restrictive MRIs and digital X-Rays to assess the type and extent of the injury. The treatment plan we provide to our patients is determined by the severity of the injury, and may include administering local anesthesia or even replacing the original joints.
